तस्य वाचकः प्रणवः ॥२७॥
tasya vācakaḥ praṇavaḥ ||27||

[RS] 1.27 OM is a symbol for ishvara.

[JW] 1.27 The word-expressing Him is the Mystic syllable [pranava].

[SS] 1.27 The word expressive of Isvara is the mystic sound OM. [Note: OM is God’s name as well as form.] [p42]

[TD] 1.27 In the way most appropriate to the qualities of God. [p157]
