अहिंसाप्रतिष्ठायं तत्सन्निधौ वैरत्याघः ॥३५॥
ahiṁsā-pratiṣṭhāyaṁ tat-sannidhau vairatyāghaḥ ||35||
[SS] 2.35 In the presence of one firmly established in non-violence, all hostilities cease. [p130]
[EB] 2.35 In the presence of one who is established in nonviolence, enmity is abandoned. [p261]
(अहिंसा, ahiṁsā) = non-violence
(प्रतिष्ठ, pratiṣṭha) = fixed; permanent stable
(तत्, tat) = whose
(सन्निधौ, sannidhau) = environs; nearby
(वैर, vaira) = enmity; conflict
(त्याघः, tyāghaḥ) = to abandon; to relinquish; to let go
