अस्तेयप्रतिष्ठायां सर्वरत्नोपस्थानम् ॥३७॥
asteya-pratiṣṭhāyāṁ sarvaratn-opasthānam ||37||
[RS] 2.37 Once non-stealing has been permanently established, all riches will be available.
[JW] 2.37 As soon as he is grounded in abstinence from theft, all jewels approach him.
[SS] 2.37 To one established in non-stealing, all wealth comes. [p133]
[EB] 2.37 When one is established in refrainment from stealing, all jewels manifest. [p263]
(अस्तेय, asteya) = to not steal
(प्रतिष्ठायाम्, pratiṣṭhāyām) = fixed; permanent stable
(सर्व, sarva) = all
(रत्न, ratna) = jewel; precious stone
(उप, upa) = near; nearby
(स्थानम्, sthānam) = space; room
(उपस्थानम्, upasthānam) = to be available
