कन्ठकूपे क्षुत्पिपासा निवृत्तिः ॥३०॥
kanṭha-kūpe kṣutpipāsā nivṛttiḥ ||30||
[RS] 3.30 Meditation on the pit of the throat (kantha kupa) causes hunger and thirst to cease.
[SS] 3.31 By samyama on the throat, cessation of hunger and thirst is achieved. [p190]
[EB] 3.30 [By samyama] on the throat comes the cessation of hunger and thirst. [p361]
(कण्थ, kaṇtha) = throat
(कूप, kūpa) = pit
(क्षुध्, kṣudh) = hunger
(पिपासा, pipāsā) = thirst
(निवृत्तिः, nivṛttiḥ) = cease
